onelife photography

i'm angie... wife, mom, follower of christ, denton lifestyle photographer. that pretty much sums it up, but just in case you want to know more about me, my photography background, where the name came from... read on. i promise you'll know much more about me than you actually wanted to!

let me start off by saying... i love kids! and i know, everyone says it, but i seriously love kids. if i didn't have to go through the pregnancy part, i'd have 10 of my own! i love their cute little chubby faces, their innocence, the crazy things that come out of their mouth... everything about them! so much, in fact, i graduated with a degree in early childhood education. little did i know i wouldn't ever really use it!

during 2005, i married my best friend, experienced the most tragic event thus far in my life, graduated college 2 months later, bought a camera, and decided to pursue a hobby in photography. yes, it started as a hobby. i am completely self taught... well, with some help from an amazing friend and fellow photographer, stephanie davis of stephanie davis weddings (check her out, she rocks!). 

for two years i practiced, read tons of books, practiced, and practiced some more. even though my own photography business was something i dreamed about but never thought would actually come about, of course i had wondered what i would name my own studio. it wasn't until i chaperoned a youth convention this revelation came to me: one life, one chance. this concept was something that hit me hard. i decided to be brave and at the beginning of 2007, one life officially became my name and the stance i take in my life. i hope my daddy is proud!

one life... we only get one. i would love to help you capture yours.

i have 2 daughters: addy & ayla

all of our names start with "a" ... yeah, i'm a dork like that.

i own my own snowboard.

my favorite movie is grease, although my husband would say its the family stone.

i cannot resist ice cream!

boring chocolate chip is my fave!

i'm the backup singer every other sunday morning at church.

i took a pottery class one semester of college.

i used to hate pink as a kid... addy's room is covered in pink!

i love most music, but cringe when aaron makes me listen to country

between the mountains & the beach, i pick the mountains.
